Everyone recommends the same games for Steam Deck. Here are some hidden gems I have found that run perfectly and are ideal for handheld play:
- Vampire Survivors (okay this one is popular)
- Nova Drift
- Slay the Spire
- Into the Breach
- Dome Keeper
What are your underrated picks?
Dome Keeper is incredible on Deck. Also want to add Brotato, Peglin, and Luck Be a Landlord to the list. Perfect pick-up-and-play games.
Caves of Qud runs great on Deck with the community controller layout. Deepest roguelike I have ever played.
DREDGE is perfect for Deck. Relaxing fishing game with Lovecraftian horror. The controls feel native with the sticks.
Everyone sleeps on Shapez 2 for Deck. It is like Factorio-lite and runs perfectly. Great for long flights.
Underrated pick: Backpack Battles. Auto-battler with inventory Tetris mechanics. Runs flawlessly and each run is quick.
