Write for Us

Love tech? Got opinions? TechWalrus wants to hear from you.

TechWalrus is always on the lookout for people who know their stuff and can explain it without putting readers to sleep. If you can break down complex tech topics into something your grandma could understand (or at least nod along to), let's talk.

Who We Are Looking For

Writers — People who can turn tech jargon into actual words. Tutorials, guides, reviews, explainers — clear writing is what matters.

Reviewers — Got hands-on experience with apps, tools, or gadgets? Share honest takes that help people make better choices.

Tipsters — Know shortcuts, tricks, or hidden features most people miss? Spill the secrets.

Developers — Can you code and explain it too? Write about APIs, frameworks, tools, or build tutorials that actually make sense.

The Deal

  • Write about what you actually know and care about
  • No word counts or strict formats — just make it good
  • Your name on the byline with a link to your stuff
  • Flexible schedule — write when you want
  • Payment per article (rates discussed individually)

What TechWalrus Does Not Want

  • AI-generated fluff passed off as original work
  • Rehashed content from other sites
  • Clickbait nonsense with no real substance
  • Anything you wouldn't want your name on

How to Apply

Pretty simple. Send an email with:

  • A quick intro — who you are and what you're into
  • Two or three writing samples (links work fine)
  • What topics you'd want to cover

No fancy resumes needed. No cover letter templates. Just show you can write and things go from there.
