Firefox vs Zen Browser - thoughts?

Been hearing a lot about Zen Browser lately. For those who have tried it, how does it compare to Firefox in terms of performance and privacy? Is it worth the switch or just hype?

Zen is genuinely good. Faster than Firefox on my machine and the vertical tabs are built in nicely. Privacy settings are on par with Firefox. I switched 2 months ago.

Tried Zen for a week and went back to Firefox. It is nice but a lot of my extensions had minor compatibility issues. Give it another 6 months.

The UI customization in Zen is what sold me. You can make it look however you want without needing userChrome.css hacks.

Performance difference is negligible in my testing. Both handle 50+ tabs fine. The real question is extension ecosystem and Zen is catching up fast.

I use both depending on the task. Firefox for work with all my dev extensions, Zen for personal browsing. Best of both worlds.

Just tried Zen after reading this thread. The speed is noticeable, especially on heavy JS sites. Might actually switch.
