Currently using Bitwarden but been hearing good things about Proton Pass. For those who have switched, is it worth it? Main things I care about:
- Browser extension quality
- Mobile app reliability
- Self-hosting option
- TOTP integration

Bitwarden is hard to beat honestly. Open source, self-hostable via Vaultwarden, great browser extension. Proton Pass is nice but still catching up on features.
Switched from LastPass to Bitwarden after the breach. Never looking back. The CLI tool is great for scripts too.
Proton Pass with SimpleLogin integration for email aliases is the real selling point. One click to generate a masked email for every signup.
1Password if you can afford it. The developer features like SSH agent integration and CLI secrets injection are unmatched.
Self-hosting Vaultwarden is the way. Full Bitwarden compatibility, runs on a Raspberry Pi, and you own your data.
KeePassXC + Syncthing. No cloud, no server, no subscription. Database stays on my devices. Been doing this for 8 years without issues.
