What to do
Check if you have any apps installed from outside the Google Play Store. If you see unknown apps like 'Tax Calculator' or 'MantaxOtax,' uninstall them immediately. If your phone suddenly locks or shows a fake ransom message, uninstall any suspicious apps right away.
If your phone is locked, do not pay the ransom. Instead, back up your data and restore your phone from a clean backup.
