Our commitment
TechWalrus is built to be usable by as many people as possible, including readers who use keyboards, screen readers, browser zoom, or other assistive technology.
We aim to follow WCAG 2.2 Level AA where practical.
What we build in
The site uses semantic HTML, visible focus states, descriptive links, form labels, alt text for meaningful images, and responsive layouts.
Dark and light themes are designed with readable contrast. Motion is kept limited, and anything decorative should respect reduced-motion settings where possible.
Known issues
Some older articles may still need better image descriptions. Some third-party embeds inherit accessibility behavior from the platform that provides them.
Advanced tools such as the SVG cleaner and password generator are usable, but some could still use better screen reader output. That is on the cleanup list.
Tell us when it breaks
If something blocks you from using the site, report it through the contact page. Include the page URL, device, browser, assistive technology if relevant, and what happened.
